It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on Saturday, June 16, 2018 of our founder and guiding light, Teri Trotter. She was surrounded by her beloved family including husband Brad and children Lanie and William. Anyone who knew Teri or experienced her infectious smile will miss her presence in this life. Teri founded The Pink Wig Project because she knew firsthand what it was like to fight cancer, to live with treatment, to watch your world change overnight. For Teri, the pink wigs were more than wigs; they were a way to reclaim joy, to reclaim life. For many who received wigs, Teri was The Pink Wig Project. We hope that those of you who supported and spread and lifted the mission know how much comfort and joy you provided to Teri during her 10-year battle with cancer. Read More...
We are committed to fulfilling Teri's vision for the Pink Wig Project now more than ever. Please consider donating so others fighting this disease can not let cancer rule, but instead feel joy as they LIVE THEIR LIFE!
Our mission is to provide a pink wig to cancer patients and survivors as a reminder to stay strong and live your life!
We also raise awareness about the importance of genetic testing and funds for cancer genetic research.
